Kunigunda Lunaria 2005 will present a three Nights filled with great music, prepared by great people. We introduce the Festival DJs:

Chmoks
Chmoks is a true Latvian industrial Dj legend, he can really kick ass with his sets. Punk since childhood and an unbroken industrial crusader since early youth, he is undoubtfully an experienced Dj + long time analogue-experiment noisitian. As a Dj Chmoks is able to offer a widerange genuine industrial mixtures from A to Z: anything of the genre - you name it.

Arlequin
One of the most universal DJ’s of Lithuanian gothic scene, also the instrumentalist of the split up extravagant pack ANAPILIS, known for interesting sets and thrilling movements at the turntables that forces public to rise and dance crazy hours. This time DJ Arlequin will present couple of sets in two raving Kunigunda parties – uncompromising industrial will dominate at the first one and gothic harmony at the other.

Ogrex
One of the sturm djs with a corrosive taste for harsh ebm till fine grind drum'n'noise. For the late dancers on the first Kunigunda night there will be no rest, and no mercy...

Markuch
Active Polish Dj who is regular on various dark music events in LIthuania.
MarKucH likes a good psycho-trance beat, dark freaks, raving underground and atmosphere of Vilnius, and he will be terrorizing you with an idm-electro-trance mix.

No.Thing
DJ No.Thing has been a while in a gothic water body and its full of him – none of bigger gothic/dark-wave events can manage without his sets. A favourite of gothic subculture never tries to heat up the audience with any show elements at the desk – but he doesn’t need it, because the music mix speaks best for him. For the Kunigunda set Dj No.Thing chose Rock - cult, dark, cold, hysteric and all melancholic...

Chimera & Mystique
Legendary duets of Memel sisters have been reside in Vilnius for a while. Extravaganza, sexuality and wonderful sense of music – that's how you describe a longevous fort-post of gothic culture of the Lithuanian Westside. Amazing, how artful are these girls at the turntables and their fantastic mix of music and vestal flirt. If you are not shocked with lolled out, pierced tongue of mistress Chimera, beware of the spidery mix of deathrock, coldwave, synthpop, industrial and old good gothic. Beg for forgiveness!

Neofolk
It must be one of the most mysterious and hard-working DJ’s of the dark scene in Lithuania; his music collection could be the envy of storied John Peel. Started as gothic DJ in 1999 at one legendary dark underground party Juoda, DJ Neofolk is still fresh in turning vinyl at alternative events. Although number of power electronic albums is growing in his portmanteau recently, old fan of Death In June still invites us for a journey into neofolk, idm, ambient, triphop and industrial with gusto.

Smetona
Brand new project born only last February uniting some cult personalities of Lithuanian dark independent scene. In fact, to play entirely Lithuanian music on set seemed like a brave step for many. Anyway, they dusted off old vinyls, reanimated sound of unique tapes in records studio and covered themselves with pseudonym of pre-war president name Smetona. The are broadcasting the sadness of SA_SA, melancholy of KARDIOFONAS, energetic of SIAURES KRYPTIS, lyricism of FOJE and aesthetic of ANTIS, and bunch of other strange national hits, transforming the dance-floor to obssessive hell sunk in nostalgia. Weird metamorphosis, but there’s no better coping-stone for the Festival.
