First and second Goetheanum in Switzerland, built according to Rudolf Steiner projects, have made a big impression on Sigitas Vėlyvis, who created the group, named Goetheanum, in 2004. " Goetheanum is what I've tried to realise long time ago", - says the founder of the group, who earlier sang with such groups as Spellbound, Ruination, Kielwater.

Like the buildings of Rudolf Steiner - cosmic, unearthly, built in strange forms, and also his mysterious anthroposophical writings - the music of Goetheanum balances between esoteric, mystery, philosophy and modern rock. "Some of the songs are 10 years old, but only now I have managed to give them proper, final form. Some of the songs have been written for another bands, but for various reasons they have never been played or recorded", - says Sigitas.

Goetheanum don't want to create music for entertainment, and some listeners maybe can miss "drive" in one song or another, but Sigitas Vėlyvis has his own opinion: "Music for entertainment should be created by people, who can do this better than I. My aim is to bring people closer to higher spiritual feelings with the help of music, and also to foster more positive attitude to the things which happen in our lives".

At concert Sigitas will play with known underground guitarists - Majonezas and Laimis Zaranka, as well with keyboards player White Orc. Spacious and mysterious, becoming stronger with each concert the music of Goetheanum can become one of the biggest discoveries of the festival.
