The cult Catalan band O Paradis will become the biggest star on the first day of Kunigunda Lunaria 2006. The fact, that O Paradis has a really big status in underground scene can be proven by just saying, that they have released two albums together with one of the most known neo-cabaret bands Novy Svet, they have also recorded together with Allerseelen. O Paradis released such succesful albums as "Reinos", "Serpiente De Luna, Serpiente De Sol", and their latest album "La Boca Del Inferno" was released by famost Punch Records.
The music of O Paradis most often is called neo-cabaret, but in reality their creation is such colourful and diverse, it is very hard to put them into the frames of just one style. Somebody has called their style "folklore magico", and probably it is the most exact name. O Paradis manage to fuse soft mediterranean ballads with post industrial elements, and this mix sometimes sounds cold and mechanical, but mostly it is filled with Spanish poetry, it carries you to the decadent bars, where flamenco is played and lost of wine is drunk, it takes you to the lost beaches at night – it is the world of nostalgy, sadness and dark poetry. O Paradis have promissed that in Vilnius they will perform a special show, so you can't miss it. At least even because it is the first neo-cabaret band performing in Lithuania.
